This Thursday, June 4, Opry Country Classics will spotlight the music of Conway Twitty. The show features the classic country songs everyone remembers best and loves most. Among the songs to be performed by some of today’s bright country artists are classics like “Hello Darlin’” and “Don’t Cry Joni.” Also on the bill will be Glen Templeton and Emily Portman, stars of the Conway Twitty Musical which played to great reviews at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center last fall. Among their offerings will be the Conway Twitty / Loretta Lynn classic “Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man.” Conway’s friend Larry Gatlin will be on hand as host of the show.
