One day, while at the office, Conway received an urgent phone call.  His kids were on the other line and they were very upset.  They told him their dog Tojo was hurt and asked could he come home. Mickey was out shopping and they weren’t sure what to do.  When Conway got home, he found Tojo lying in the yard barely breathing.  He had been attacked by two German Shepherds.  Conway wasn’t sure what to do either so he called an ambulance.  Mickey drove up just as the ambulance arrived.  She rushed out of the car in a panic and asked, “What’s happened?” Conway ran up to her and said, “Tojo is in bad shape, but don’t worry; I’ve got everything under control.  Had Tojo not been hurt so badly, Mickey would have laughed at the situation in her driveway.  Although Conway was very successful in the music business, when things needed to be taken care of at home, he was out of his element; that was Mickey’s expertise.  She wrapped Tojo in a sheet, placed him in the backseat of her car and drove him to the veterinarian.  He recovered weeks later.
